I'm back! (insert evil laughter)
Due to minor yet significant threats from Genna and a burning desire to procrastinate and not read these 100 pages of articles on writing field notes, I have once again taken up the task of writing down the random, yet hopefully illuminating (or at least mildly amusing) life happenings of one strange, yet content, archaeologist/anthropolologist/magician.
I can't believe how long it has been since I wrote here. Much has happened since. I have moved into my own apartment and I got a cat. I've finished my last fall semester of my undergraduate degree and the end seems increasingly near. I have become a magician and am becoming increasingly involved in the magical community. I have a boyfriend, who brings me spontaneous lattes when I'm stressed out at the SFC and is willing to watch 24 till 3am just to hang out with me. I'm writing the virtual equivalent of an undergraduate thesis for one course and I love it. I had an amazing summer with some amazing people and I'm doing the same thing again next year. The Secular Freethought Centre has become the Centre for Inquiry Ontario, with all the money and interference that comes with it. I'm moving to Europe in September. This both terrifies me and thrills me at the same time. I have no clue what I will be doing in 2 years.
My DVD player decided to revolt and ate one of my Prisoner disks. I am not pleased.
Fried bananas are one of the most delicious foods on earth. Especially for brunch with my best friend :)
